Home Delivered Meals

The Home Delivered Meal Program provides a hot nutritious meal to the eligible meal participant.  Requirements for eligibility are not based on income but physical ability to shop and prepare a nutritious balanced meal for yourself.  The program allows the frail older individual to remain in their homes by providing proper nutrition and daily/weekly visits from the agency staff and volunteers.  Individuals may receive home delivered meals for a long period of time.  If no one is home at the time of meal delivery and a call was not placed to center for arrangements, then protocol will be followed to ensure the safety for the older individual.

This program among many other services available from our Agency allows the older individual to remain independent.
Cost of the Service

Full cost to prepare this meal is $9.71.  The suggested donation is $4.00 a meal.

No one is denied a meal based on inability or unwillingness to donate towards the program.
